15 Jahre universal arts - das Künstlerpaar präsentiert:
“Dance Competition” Expressionistische Gemälde von Jacqueline Ditt
“She Said” illustrierte Musik - Video von Mario Strack
Neben rituellen und sportlichen Aspekten ist der Tanz auch heute noch ein gangbarer Weg um Tuchfühlung mit dem anderen Geschlecht aufzunehmen. Gerne wird er auch zur Selbstdarstellung benutzt um dem anderen seine körperlichen Vorzüge vorzuführen und dabei die eigene Anziehungskraft zu testen. Die Competition (Wettbewerb) ist in dieser Ausstellung von Jacqueline Ditt nicht als profaner Tanzwettbewerb oder TV-Castingshow zu verstehen. Vielmehr soll gezeigt werden wie vielfältig die Möglichkeiten sind das Beste aus sich heraus zu holen, um am Ende als Sieger mit einem Partner vom “Platz” zu gehen.
Mario Strack stellt seine lyrische Electro-Rock Ballade “She Said” vor. Melancholisch abstrahiert beschreibt sie die Lebenssituation eines Paares, geprägt vom Wechselspiel zwischen Fragestellung und Entscheidung. Die Motive für die Illustration als MusikVideo findet der Künstler im Pflaster, direkt auf der Strasse vor seiner Haustüre über das man sich eilig hinwegbewegt, zwischen dessen Steinen sich aber auch beharrlich, den widrigen Umständen zum Trotz das Leben festgesetzt hat.
